Hey all,
Picked up a Compaq NX 8420 that is booting to bios, detecting all drives etc and I have updated to the latest version of BIOS but for some reason I cannot install Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 on the laptop as it is constantly freezing at the first stages of the install.
I have tried using USB install and also DVD but it still freezes at the same stage on both operating systems.
Checked the BIOS and everything seems to be fine.
Any ideas to get around this ****ing frustrating problem?
