HP 250 overheating, not caused by dust.

OK, I bought HP 250 with Win 8. After a month or so of use it started overheating to no end, notably when playing games. So, I thought to myself that it might be something to do with dust. I took laptop to my specialist friend to check for dust and clean it up if there's any. Turns out, there was little to no dust. He cleaned it anyways, because there was a little dust but nothing major. So for a week or so everything was fine and dandy, but then laptop started overheating even when I'm not playing any games - just browsing and stuff. Is this a known problem? Anything I can do? I can't clean it up every month - it's kinda expensive.

Also, I'm experiencing freezes when CPU is somewhat used, but not enough to actually freeze anything.
