First and foremost, hello everyone. My name is Trey. I apologize if this is the incorrect location to post this but it seemed to be okay.

I own a HP Pavilion dv7-4278nr Entertainment Notebook PC. A few days ago I uploaded many pictures and videos to my PC from my phone and downloaded a few pictures as well and my computer started acting buggy claiming to have a problem with the hard drive. My first instinct was; I am infected. This was not the case, I ran a few scans and nothing came up. I did an error disk check which took around 10 hours and it told me:

SMART Disk Check has detected an imminent failure.

It then prompts me to a diagnostic screen in which the diagnostic immediatly fails on hard disk 1 giving me a problem number and a product number. Unfortunately, the warranty is outdated.

As I log onto this PC; it promps a lot of warnings talking about the hard disk and low memory and eventually crashes after awhiles use. I have ran a scan for outdated drivers and updated my BIOS and then tried to defrag my hard disk but it never fully goes through before the PC crashes.

Any help for this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
