windows will not start up

I have a laptop  HP G60 : Serial # [Personal Information Removed]
    Product # WA573UA#ABA   Model # G60-630US

Windows failed to start. I launched the startup repair and got the recovery manager screen. My only option was to run Computer checkup and then to open a command prompt.

  The next screen I saw was the following:

Administrator:X:\Windows\System32\Cmd.exe

Microsoft Windows( Version 6.1.76001)

X:\Windows\RM>_

Where do I go from here?
