I recently purchased a HP Split x2 13-m-121sa, and have been having a lot of trouble with my trackpad. When I am using my computer, it will randomly freeze completely for around 5-10 seconds and not register my movements at all. Other times, the gestures, for example the two-finger scrolling, stop working altogether only to return about 10 seconds later. This is more prevalent than it freezing, the gestures seem to work only around 70% of the time. When they do work, it seems completely fine. I don't have any difficulty using the gestures or moving my fingers in the right way etc.
I have updated my synaptics driver, and uninstalled it and reinstalled it, which didn't help the issue. The settings appear to be fine, I haven't selected the option to tap to disable the trackpad. I don't think it is my computer freezing, as if I use the touch screen or a mouse this issue does not occur.
I updated to 8.1 from 8, I was having the same issue when on 8 and I thought this might help. Computer is otherwise fully uptodate.
