Hello, my HP notebook wont boot past the windows starting screen. It does come on and i can see the display fine, but when it gets to starting windows, the windows icon is suppose to swirl into place, i can see 4 different colored dots come up where its suppose to start showing the logo but it never comes up and just sits at that screen till you do a hard shut down of the notebook. Ive taken out and tested the hard drive (its fine) and replaced the RAM with a stick i knew was good but it still wouldnt make it past that screen. I cleaned it (it was already apart, what the heck) but still nothing. Any advice on how to fix this or a way to get to a place to restore to factory settings?
