My computer is running slow. It doesn't freeze but it takes too long to start up and a lot of programs run very slow. It just happened when I was playing a game and I started having low rate of frame per second. I rebooted and right away I noticed it took more then usually to restart and background programs loaded very slowly. When i try to open "My documents" right after start up it takes about 7-8 seconds to open, let alone "Internet Explorer".
Actually my PC was running slow when I bought it. I returned it and it took 3 weeks to get it back and they had replaced the entire motherboard (I should note that it was not just slow, I used to get black screens all the time and the PC froze). It worked fine for a month and the slow problem returned (just slow, no black screens). I tried back then to "Refresh my PC without affecting my files" and the problem was FIXED.
This problem happens very often. This is the fifth time. The difference is that "Refreshing my PC" now is NOT fixing the problem. I tried it twice and I still get slow performance. Even if this fixed the problem, I am getting tired of reinstalling my programs all over again.
I think overheat is not a problem because I am using an extra cooler. I had to buy it because I thought my first 4 problems were heat related.
