Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion 14-b017cl 14" Sleekbook. I replaced Windows 8 on it with Ubuntu and then finally replaced Ubuntu with Windows Vista. While doing so, I think I corrupted my BIOS. The computer powers on but does not boot (the caps lock led blinks twice); I have to switch it on several times before it usually does boot into windows - sometimes it takes 4 tries before it boots, sometime the whole day and it yet might not boot. Is there any way I can fix this problem myself? Can I try and intall a Windows 8 BIOS on my machine that has Windows Vista on it right now?
Thanks!
