My HP DV7-4071NR is crashing. I ran the HP bios diagnostics and they are inconclusive. Once I got the error "GTSFXS-56573P-XD0036-40cG03 and a message indicating memory module1 bottom slot1 is bad. That was once. Every test run after that almost every memory check passes. However, then the Harddrivelong DST test started failing (even though it passed before). It now fails very repeatedy every time and quickly with error "GTSFXS-56573P-XD003G-61C403". Since the failure messages vary, I don't want to go out and buy a part till I know what part is failing. The computer is an i7 and not that old so parts shouldn't be failing! I went to the link that the diagnostics tell me to go to to get more info on the errors and it is no help, It just brings me to the HP support site... but there are no error code deffinitions or any help whatsoever. I don't understand why I'm given error codes and no way to find out what they mean. My pc has all of its original parts and I didn't add any extra parts. The windows helps indicate I might have a driver problem but all my drivers are those supplied by hp and updated through hp's update utility. Help!!!!
