Hi All,
Like many of you, when I put my Laptop into sleep mode, it does not recover. Lights on, Hard Driver spinning, Wireless network LED's on, fan spinning....etc
I have a HP Pavilion DV6- 3030tx upgraded to Windows 8.1 x64bit.
I recently upgraded my laptop and since have the problem of it not recovering out of sleep mode. You can faintly see that the screen is on, but almost black. I have to restart it twice before I can get the display up. Even installing programs can be troublsome, as the laptop needs to restart to complete the installation, but the screen does not recover. I also have a monitor attached just to help navigate around the problem.
I have tried just about every solution in these forums, including Hard restart, settings, driver upgrades, disabling drivers....etc, none of which work.
The HP support page just states my laptop is only designed to work on Windows 7, so bad luck(I did not have this problem before upgrading). I am following several forum posts in hope that someone from HP will eventually come up with a viable solution. One that does not corrupt the driver installations.
