I've got a brand new HP ZBook 15. It arrived with Windows 7 and a HP Windows 8 DVD. I installed windows 8 on it immediately using the DVD and installed all drivers with the HP Support Assistant. Apart from having a lot of problems with the Ethernet, which are now partially resolved, I've got a huge issue when putting the Laptop into sleep mode and waking it up after 1-2 hours. Everything will start normal, and I can see the start screen image (the image which appears before you log in with your PW or PIN), but it will then immediatly freeze. This can only be resolved with a restart. Sometimes, even after restarting, I will be able to log in normally, but the system freezes again after reaching the desktop.
I've tried talking to HP Support but they just gave me some drivers to install (i.e downgrade my drivers) which did not resolve the issue.
BIOS is L70 Ver. 01.07
Does anybody know how to resolve this?
