dv6-1340ss blank screen.

I have an hp pavilion dv6-1340ss laptop

when I start it I get a blank screen and 3 beeps

BEEP BREAK BEEP BEEP

the caps and numlock LEDs are blinking 3 times break - 3 times break etc.

I tried a hard reset and replacing the ram modules but it didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.
