As of one month ago, my HP Pavillion G6 was replaced with a HP Envy 15T-J100 after the third, unsuccessful repair.
As of one day ago, my HP Envy no longer works.
Less than one month ago, I purchased a copy of Microsoft Word. I downloaded all of my files into my new laptop, happy that I would no longer have to rely on a flash drive.
As of one week ago, my flash drive no longer works.
When I woke up this morning, I discovered that my laptop would no longer load. After powering on my laptop, the fan would run for one second before stopping, the display remaining black. The power and wifi lights would load - solid and unblinking.
I have attempted all of the possible suggested fixes for my model of laptop and my operating system. I have attempted the hard reboot and the other suggested things to no avail. I have hooked it up to a secondary monitor with no response.
I do understand that these things happen. To have it happen less than one month after recieving the replacement - during finals no less - is extremely disappointing. As of this moment I have lost over eight pages of final papers.
Any help on this matter is much appreciated, evenif it's not a guarantee. I just don't want to give up.
