Hi HP Community
My laptop is Hp Probook 450 G0 (F0W28PA):i5 3230, 8GB Ram, HD8750
I need enable Virtualization Technology and Data Execution Prevention for Windows Phone 8 Emulator, but i have problem and here are the steps to reproduce the problem:
- enable Virtualization Technology and Data Execution Prevention on BIOS : OK
- install windows 8.1 x64 pro: OK
- log into Windows and enable Hyper-V: OK
- install visual studio 2013 utimate (with Windows Phone SDK 8.0)
- restart the computer -> problem appears -> My computer now takes forever to log into Windows, with a spinning indicator and Windows logo.
I upgraded my BIOS to Version:F.27(latest)
After, i back to BIOS and Disable one of two (Virtualization Technology and Data Execution Prevention ) -> restart -> i can log into window.
Now, i create a winphone application and run with emulator, i get error:
"Can't start the Windows Phone Emulator
The Windows Phone Emulator couldn't start because
the hypervisor isn't running. The likely cause is that
hardware-assisted virtualization isn't turned on.
Check you PC's BIOS and make sure that hardware-
assisted virtualization and hardware-assisted data
execution protection are turned on."
i need enable Virtualization Technology and Data Execution Prevention to fix this error for Windows Phone 8 Emulator.
Help me, please!
