hi guys, im very computer savvy, but could some1 please help me,, i have a pavilion, dv6, normally a great laptop, but i turned it on today, and i have nothing, just a black screen, no bios, screen just stays black,, as i say, im computer savvy,, ive done all the usual tricks, hard reset, stripped it down to give it some new thermal putty on the heatsync etc etc,, but still same issue, it all fires up as normal according to the sound of it, ( fans whirring, lights blinking,, no bios beeps, ) ive changed the ram in a bid to solve it, but still no joy, its surely cannot be the gfx card, as im very strict about giving it good airways, i checked all the fan, and its as clean as a bell, ,, any help at all please??
just to also add,, ive tried an external monitor,, and no joy either
