mousepad malfunctioning

Laptop's model :    HP probook 450G1

date of purchase :   5 february 2014

The mouse pad becomes uncontrollable at times. It does not respond properly to the finger movements. Only horizontal movements appear and no vertical. The only remedy for it is ( what i usually do when i encounter this problem ) to go to sleep and again login to the compter to continue the work.

I found the source of the problem (by trial and error). Problem arises when entire laptop is tilted(including base)  and lifted slightly in acceleration simultaneously like taking the laptop from table and placing it onto lap. Again when the laptop is tilted to a particular angle (I found by trial and error that tilting lapop to right solves the problem) the trackpad sometimes begins to work fine. When I googled, I found that  HP 3D DriveGuard software senses the tilting of computer. This might probably be the root of the problem. I request HP servicemen to look into the matter and release required updates/fixes as soon as possible.

Also laptop is taking too long to boot and suhtdown. This is happening since I updated softwares from HP support assistant. Pleases inform possible reasons/fixes for the same..
