I have a HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 (Renew product) for almost a year now. It has worked perfectly for all that time but this week it froze 3 times already. It's completely random, there's no specific application that's open when it freezes. Happened during Skype, typing in Word and browsing online. No error messages and I have to shut it of with the power button to get it working again. The first 2 times it made a rattling sound however I don't believe it came from the actual notebook i.e. a rattling fan or something. Today it was completely silent when it froze. Can this be fixed with an update of some sort? I have Windows 8.
