my bios is asking for an admin pssword which is unknown. after a few tries my system is now locked saying system disabled with a code 54700066

My HP laptop I got about a year ago keeps shutting off on me it only stays on bout about 5 seconds
It only turns on bout 5 seconds turns off and I got it to stay on longer than 5 seconds but now it's saying preparing auto repair and I don't know what that means please help I don't know what to do

getting error message when attempt to startup saying no OS on harddrive
I sent my computer to be wiped clean about a month ago due to viruses/malware and things of the like. A coupleweeks after it was picked up I started getting an error message that says no OS found on harddrive. Sometimes it immediately goes to the message at startup but most of the time it allows me to use my laptop for few min or hours then it says critical error will restart for when corrected and then it goes to the previous message about no OS on hard drive. HELP please. This is the computer I use for EVERYTHING including my work

Pavilion won't start with or without battery
Can someone please help
Ive got a 9 month old Pavilion 15 and it wont start with or without the battery. Ive tried taking the battery out and holding the on button for 40 seconds to clear the residual power. i tried starting it up without the battery but the only thing that happens is the light next to the power inlet port blinks three times.

led power light blinks once

Pavilion 17-f001dx (Windows 10)
Upon plugging in the AC Adapter, the laptop power led (White) blinks once, then goes dark. Pressing the start button, the Laptop will not boot, and the same LED blinks 3x's. This behaviour applies when the battery is inserted or not. Also, Hard Reset done with no change. No other LED (Caps) blinks. Also verified both sticks of RAM with no errors (used another laptop).
I could not find any reference to this issue. i have already read the HP guide "Troubleshooting LED Blink Codes..." Please note, only LED that blinks is the Power LED. Caps LED does not blink at all.
I have also verified the output of the AC Adapter (voltage only).
The weird thing is this, every so often when plugging in the laptop, the Power LED will light up (white) and stay lit, then the laptop will boot with no issue. I have been able to recreate this with the battery inserted or not.
I am at a loss. Could the Power Jack be intermittent and cause an issue?

HP computer is stuck in Recovery Manager mode.
I was trying to help a family member with her computer and I did a restore thru Recovery Manager. When it got to the end it said that "Restoration did not complete" It gives you the option to save a log, see details, or retry. I did save a log, and I checked the details and apparently the microsoft wifi direct virtual adapter did not load.
Now it is stuck in Recovery Management. There is no other option to get out of it, if you restart the computer it
goes right back to that blue screen with the same message on it.
Can't seem to get out of that screen! Please help!

Unmountable boot volume
Got a unmountable boot volume error. Ran HD diagnostics. Passed SMART check but failed Short DST test. Failure ID: OLXF6K-6MV882-RXJ31A-60WN03. Is the hard drive toast? Attempted to go into recovery mode from the menu but it just black screens. Thanks.

My laptop wont start fully, it keeps spazzing out after I sign in.
So after "shutting down and update"-ing last night, which the laptop has done before. When i start my hp laptop this morning, it doesn'st start fully., As in, i swtich it on, goes to HP loading screen, gets to my sign in screen for my Windows 8, i sign in, goes through, but my home/desktop screen with my wallpaper shows up but does start fully my showing all my desktop icons. So at this point, its like 'starting' again and again, making the screen spaz out with nothing showing my the wallpaper and spazzing between that and a red screen (windows 8 thing). help me

Computer seems locked up on the startup page.
My computer starts up but is stuck on the first page and I can't get to the sign in page. The little circle keeps going around on the screen and it's been doing this for hours.

I need your help
I turned my laptop off the other day and when I try to turn it back on it sounds like it's going to boot up then it stops after five seconds. It will constantly try to boot it self up then it stops. The f12 key will blink once then it will try to boot up. I tried everything what could it be ? #stumped

New HP Pavillion 17
(It is a MS Win 10, but I wasn't sure which one.)
Anyhow, It is a new Pav 17 t. Taken out of the box on Aug 25. Since then I spent one long night on phone with HP tech support due to freezing. (Tech blamed me for not up-dating it!) Tonight it froze again, another long phone call & now I'm sitting next to a brand new computer that I can't touch while it goes through 3 hrs of diagnostics, and writing to you from my old HP Pav g. never had a computer do this twice in it's first 3 weeks of life before!
This is my 3rd HP & I felt some kind of loyalty to the company. Bought the best care pack & it is no good. Suggestions?
Already went through the turn it upside down & remove battery drill.
Brand new computer should not be frozen.
My Internet connection is fine, as you can see on my old HP Pav g.

No password box, can't log in
Hello,
Every time I turn on my laptop, there's no option to input a password and it won't acknowledge the fingerprint swipe. This means I can't log in to my laptop at all. I've tried reinstalling windows, but the problem still persists.
I can log in via safe mode, but other than that, no success. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a fix?
