Bought thru Walmart online or Walmart.com hp for warranty
First hp laptop for $279 July 2015 then realized I needed bitlocker
to open bitlocker encrypted sd memory so returned fourteen days later but extended warranty unable to return so lost $64
Second hp laptop for $485.01 August 2015 per Walmart I should contact hp support as web page on Walmart stated Windows 8.1 professional but hp laptop delivered had Windows 8.1 home, laptop refurbished amd a-12 processor with 16 Gb ram and a one terabyte hard drive model number started with J3 with touch display but actual part number is J7V75AAR, 720p display, hp 15z-p100 CTO without touch display. J7V75AAR supposed to have ninety days warranty and registered but warranty never has been shown nor has the identify computer download ever worked but got Walmart extended warranty that I could not return has been applied to J7V75AAR so it has multiple year warranty. I have tenatively discovered the laptop is from Uruguay, South America. I have found in hp spares a TPM and I want to know if it can be installed into the J7V75AAR? Can I get an install of Windows professional or a working recovery set of Windows professional with hp drivers? My laptop was bought because it supposedly came with Windows professional. I need the checksum numeric value for both administrator and user passwords for the bios to reset the startup password so I can boot into Windows as I have been away from my laptop for more than a month so I don't remember the laptop startup password. I do not understand how I made the same mistake on both entries of administration bios password but what I recorded does not work! I have entered the password to system disabled four separate times and here are the checksums: DCCE2035, 9EF7FB19, 1227FABC, 7C0826B1 .

star wars special edition constantly locks up and hangs
ive had this star wars special edition laptop for about four months now,when using for a while it completly stops working and hangs,watching a film it will just pause and make a noise and the only way to get it to work again is to hold power button until it turns off, and then restart,im not a newbie when it comes to computers and its really starting to annoy me now ,i have restored the laptop at least 5 times now thinking it might be a deriver error or virus etc,but still keep getting the same result ,any ideas welcome and appreciated ,cheers one really frustrated hp user

Not able to boot - locked Windows drive can't refresh or restart
I have an hp pavilion model # 14-b109wm serial - 5cd33431m5 product - e0x7oua#aba
for the past 2 years since I've had it there has been nothing but continuous issues starting with when I updated it for the first time, repair getting stuck in a continuous loop, crashes, not starting up. Etc. I decided to purchase a 32gb usb which would be the recovery usb I would use to reset my laptop to factory settings, it worked and I decided to turn off automatic updates so that my windows would not update and mess my computer up again. It worked for the first few months without a hitch, suddenly my laptop would crash randomly and not load up anything. My laptop was in a useless state, I had configured it to be the reason of my disk usage being at 100% . I've read severel forums on how to prevent 100% disk usage but nothing helped me I tried disabling super fetch, Windows search. I've tried resetting my laptop to factory setting again. Still sadly facing this inconclusive issue. As I was trying to fix this 100% disk usage issue which included me to turn off my laptop and turn it back on I was faced with the message - not able to boot, insert boot disk and press any key. Something like that, so I inserted my recovery usb to maybe refresh or restore my laptop it would inform me that the Windows drive was locked. I'm at a loss honestly, I have no idea what's caused this or why even my recovery usb won't fix this. But I am not able to reach to hp chat support ( frustrating ) since my warranty is out, and if you call for help no one can help me I've called 3 different ( clueless ) hp support representatives and am not sure how this issue can be fixed.

Brand New HP Notebook - freeze lockup on startup (100% Disk Space)
I recently purchased a brand new HP notebook (HP-ay014dx) and it locks up on startup of the computer. The task manager shows 100% disk space during the times it locks-up.
Please note that this is a brand new laptop (literarlly right out of the box after a couple of restarts) not an upgrade of windows 10 from 8.1 (although I had this same problem with our last HP that we upgraded; which is why we bought the new laptop). Before I return the laptop and swear off of HP, I wanted to see what HP recommends to fix the 100% disk issue?

Black Screen - BIOS update - UEFI Update
I have a HP 2000 Notebook PC that goes in a continue loop with a black screen. The operating system does not load. The fan works and the led power light is operational. A current system check reveals the last bios update being F.20 and UEFI update being 4.3.3.3. I downloaded the most current BIOS on an USB drive and attempted the BIOS update. The BIOS upgrade did not recognize the usb drive and I was unable to load the update. I downloaded the most current UEFI firmware and want to know how to upload it. Can anyone provide some assistance? Thank you and have a great day.

My 11-r015wm (ENERGY STAR power light on Black Screen
My Notebook today started restarting and just stayed there. Now it is Black with the power light on.
I have looked everywhere and the stuff says do a hard set. This is an non removable battery. The HP video doesn't show
this model. I have tried pressing and holding the power butten down but nothing is working.

Blue Screen uncorrectable error HP Pavilion TS 14-n232tx
Hi guys,
My laptop freezes about once a day (usually when watching a video on vlc or youtube),
or about every hour when doing a heavy load task (eg rendering fractals) forcing a restart. Sometimes the freeze will display a blue uncorrectable error screen.
BlueScreenView mentions hal.dll x124.
I have tried swapping out the memory, a new hard disk, updating the bios and reinstalling a fresh copy of windows 10. Non of these have worked. What could be causing this issue?

11.6 Pavilion x360 Runnig Super Slow after Battery Died?
Hi,
So my battery died whilst on Standby overnight, so next morning I plugged it in and resumed to find an erro message saying Recyling Bin corrupted, tried clicking some ok boxes etc but nothing was happening, tried opening menus and other apps, nothing. It seemed locked up. I Cntrl Alt Deleted and got it to shut down. When I started back up it's running ultra slow now and I can't open folders off the desktop - Any ideas? Currently runnin Windows update which is taking forever trying to detect any issues - this is a brand new product too - 2 weeks old and not used it. Should I reformat and start again? Thanks

Stuck at startup
Just got latest Windows update and when I restarted my computer, it freezes not too long after I turn it on. To be precise, it freezes at the screen where the little dots are spinning in a circle with th HP sign on the top. No button works. Please help me!

leider kann ich nicht in meinem Notebook SVM aktivieren.
Ich habe versucht mit Neu Start und F2 in BIOS zu kommen.
Leider komme ich nur in "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI" rein.
Da sehe ich nur:

Könnte jemand mir hilfen, SVM zu aktivieren.

Stuck on blue screen saying-hibernation.tapped keys powered on and off
Got back from work, powered up my machine, there's a blue screen saying - hibernation. I've taped on most all the keys, used the power button to turn off and on. HELP! PLEASE!

Pavilion 13-sr128 x360 won't boot to Windows
I've had this notebook for about 5 months. In trying to copy some files from a hard drive folder to One Drive I got a message that there was not enough disk space. I don't believe the disk was filled and suspected a virus. I was going to do a Malwarebytes scan, and in the process of updating definitions, MBAM popped up a message that it couldn't load the anti-rootkit driver, or some such, and gave me the choice of scanning without it or restarting and looking for the driver. I chose to restart. Instead of rebooting, I saw PREPARING AUTOMATIC REPAIR > DIAGNOSING YOUR PC > AUTOMATIC REPAIR > YOUR PC DID NOT START CORRECTLY. Then I am given the option to restart or go to advanced options.
Choosing restart, repeats the same loop, endlessly, and windows 10 has not booted up since. Trying a system restore, I get an error that there is not enough disk space.
I used a Bit Defender rescue USB utility to boot to that app and did the scan. It found one infection: GEN:VARIANT.SYMMI.31976 -- and deleted it. The PC still would not boot. I repeated the scan, and no further infection was found.
Via the cmd prompt I deleted the recycle bin and a bunch of files to free up space for system restore and ran the restore and got the error that the restore point was corrupted and destroyed. Apparently, that trojan is buried deep, and I'm afraid I may find that the HP recovery files have also been corrupted or wiped out. I was hoping to avoid a reset anyway, with the resultant loss of programs and settings, but it appears that may be my best option, unless someone here can suggest something else to try.
Also, I have not been able to find the HP page for ordering recovery media. I found the page with detailed instructions about what one needs to know about ordering, such as getting the correct model number and serial number of the computer, but I can't find the place to enter that information and locate the correct usb recovery media. Can someone point me to the page?

HP Envy X2 13t wont start or indicate charging
The computer one day turned on saying the cmos was reset and I would have to boot into windows or it would take me to system repair. The computer would remain powered on for a few minutes shopwing 0% charging then it would just die. Once turned off it would show an orange light then a blinking white light then a solid light then maybe an orange light again then it would show no light! So I got a smart charger and it turned on again showing 0% charging then it shut off. Afterwards it appeared to have a solid orange light so I let it charge for a while. Once I attempted to boot it again, it made the power on vibration but still shows a black screen and now no charging indicator is on.
I dont know what to do and have no warranty but if someone has a similar problem or a solution to the problem please share.

HP Hard Drive ERROR UOF6KF-78M87B-QFPH6J-6OW6O3
Hello!
I am recieving a Failure ID on my hard drive startup test: UOF6KF-78M87B-QFPH6J-6OW6O3 (not 100% sure if the O is actually a zero) but if anyone has ideas what this means and how to fix it, please tell me.
I can enter my password but when it starts to log in, the screen is black and nothing happens..
My masters thesis is on the line (Cloud has not been, suprprise-suprise done those automatic backups...) so any help would be sincerely welcomed.
