Computer shut down won't turn on and it's burning hot
So I was gaming and suddenly my computer shut off, can't turn it on. When I plug in the power cord the light gets orange. I already tried to take out the ac adapter and keep pressed the on button for 8, 15, 30 secs then connect the ac adapter again and nothing. I also noticed if I plug in the ac adapter the computer gets burning hot and I mean BURNING.
After a while when its not hot anymore, I press the power button without connecting the cord and the light from the power button gets white for like 8 seconds and then turns off but no booting no nothing just that light. Idk what to do anymore, idk if the computer is now useless or if its salvageable, if it overheated causing internal damage or if I should just let it breathe for like a day. Any help is welcome.

After i try it three times without success i get the message System Disabled [i 50569963]

Caps locks blinking five times/ Laptop won't start
I recently upgraded my ram with a Crucial 4 GB 2400 stick and installed a clean copy of windows on a M.2 SSD. Worked on the computer five days without issues, everything fine, the laptop was extremely responsive. Downloaded all the official drivers and updated my BIOS. Today I tried to start the Pc and all I got is a black screen and a Caps Lock blinking 3 times (slow) and the blinking five times (fast). Tried pushing the power button for 30 seconds and then pluging the power cord without success. I tried with the Windows key plus B or V and nothing. Some sites talk about a motherboard issue when the Caps Lock blinks five times. Is my MB dead? Is this a compatibility issue? Bios went nuts? Does my warranty covers this? My laptop is just 6 months old...
X360 14-ba001la is the model, came with a 4 GB 2400 stick and a 5400 rpm HDD. i3 7100u. Windows 10 64 Bits.

Laptop won’t shut down
My laptop has been shutting down for 3 days now. I can push the power button and it comes back on. When it comes back on, it’s still shutting down. Any advice to correct this problem would be appreciated!

Administration locked out of my HP-f387wm please help!
Hello I recently purchased a used HP 15-f387wm from a friend and I turned it on and it immediatly asks for the administration password. I asked my friend and he said he never put one on there and it has just been sitting in storage according to him and he was the only owner. I read some of the other discussions on here and I entered the wrong password and it gave me the code=A [AC34FB9C] is there anyone who can help me please!?

HP Pavilion gaming laptop running windows 10, freezes when trying to install windows 7
Hello I recently purchased my HP pavilion gaming laptop. It runs fine with windows 10 and everything works. However, I need to be able to run windows 7 on it as well to run certain programs for school. I have a valid windows 7 pro iso file which I have mounted to a USB in order to install. I have created an NTFS partition on my laptop to install the windows 7 OS on. The setup starts, copies the files, and everything looks fine and then it restarts for the installation process. This is where the problem occurs. When I run the windows setup option instead of windows 10 to install windows 7, the startup screen appears with the 4 glowing orbs but then it freezes here. I thought maybe it just took some time but unforutantely I have let it run for an hour or so and it was still frozen. I have tried running in legacy boot mode, and correspondingly changing the usb type to MBR however when I try this it says there is no bootable media. I have also seen it could be the USB driver but I am not exactly sure about that and am unaware which exact USB driver to install. Any help on fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time.

Hard Drive Short DST Check FAILURE
I have the HP Pavilion g6-2228dx and it has been intermittently just shutting down randomly, while using it. It has gotten much worse, and really isn't usable anymore because it shuts down so often.
I ran the diagnostic tests that you get to by pressing F2 during startup. The Hard Drive Short DST Check FAILED with the FAILURE ID Code:
0TQ5W0-6B89GE-MFPX0K-60S903
Hard drive 1 Component Test: FAILED.
I can't find what this means or any info on what I can try from any searches of the hp techcenter site, it just confirmed that my warranty expired a few years ago.
Can anybody suggest anything that may help get this computer working? Is the hard drive just shot? If so, is it replaceable?

My HP AB516TX Restarts/Freezes after hitting it.
Whenever I hit my laptop unknowingly my laptop restarts or freezes up.
Sometimes after freezing it gives be BSOD but it is always different every time.
I thought it is HDD issue so I also removed HDD Secure drive application still no luck how to fix it.

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI on startup
Whenever I power on my laptop I am greeted by a black screen and the following menu: HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI on startup, I have a few options like Hardrive check and Memory check. The problem is that no matter what I do I always run into this menu. The workaround I found is to get into bios and then exit and the PC starts normally. I have completed the memory and hardrive tests and they were both passed. I would like to know if there is a method to disable the said menu on startup.

DMI USB key not bootable
Hello,
I am having issues with programming a replacement system board using the new DMI programming tool. Once I select the USB key in the boot menu I get an error no bootable media found. Any ideas as to why? THe USB key is automatically formatted and made into a bootable key with your .exe file provided with the rest of the DMI programming files.

Boot drive no Hard Drive
just had the hard drive replaced via warranty -- battery and power adapter cord. Replaced because system crashed and couldn't find hard drive. now that I got it back it will load sometimes and not others. It says install operating system can not find hard drive C:

Chromebook will not turn on
Chromebook will not turn on. I work for a large school district and we have over 1000 of these. This is an issue we have seen on the regular and the most common issue for this is the system board (part# L15850-001).
Since we have so many of these I took apart a known working unit and have swapped in almost every part I can think of. I started off with a warranty replacement system board. And I have swapped out the following:
LCD panel
Top cover
Battery
Speakers
WNIC.
I have unplugged every other component on the system board itself except the LCD panel and the top cover and it still will not boot. When plugged into a known working power supply the LED indicator is the orange/amber color and the system board feels warm like it is receiving power. When I hit the power button the LED just stays orange/amber. When I hit ESC + Refresh + power the light turns white briefly goes off- then goes back to orange/amber. I would try another system board but HP's stellar self maintainer site will not let me. It keeps saying invalid on the warranty replacement screen because this is a duplicate order because I have already ordered 1 warranty replacement system board.
Anyone else have this issue?
