GOOF EVENING. I HAVE A HP NOTEBOOK. ..PRODUCT JOD41EN#ABU. Im looking for a replacement battery as my machine is 3 years old and my battery im informed by HP check is faulty..ive spent 3 days searching all day and not getting anywhere...Arrgghh...I managed to find a V104 which i understand is a replacement but that fell through i then found another alledged part n umber as follows; 6C 47 WHR CO60-10 Niether of which im sure about and i HP do not supply them anymore and the sites HP recom mend cannot offer any help daying nothing available...Im at my wits end this is driving me nuts... Please can somebody help or offer any ideas as to where i might purchas a new replacement battery... many thanks in advance....

HP Pavilion15-e007tx Stil Thermal Shutdown (Cleaned Heatsink/Changed Silicone gel/Changed CPU Fan)
Hi Every one,
My HP Pavilion 15-e007tx, still Thermal Shutdown.
I've Cleaned CPU Heatsink, Changed Silicone gel (Thermal Grease) (I think I do it well, 3 times) ... It's still Thermal Shutdown.
I've try to changed the new CPU FAN, ... It's still Thermal Shutdown.
It's even shutdown during in BIOS SETUP. (Not boot into WINDOW) around 90 sec.
So, I think I can't Update BIOS.
Help me, please.

Laptop screen is off
Dear Sirs, Could you please be so kind to help me solve a problem with my laptop (HP OMEN 17-an040ur). It has been in a sleepmode for almost 24 hours. When I tried to turn it on (by pressing a random key) the following has happened: keyboard lights turned on, but screen was still off. I tried to completely turn the notebook off several times, and when I've pulled a cord out and used a long press on the power button the notebook finally turned off. I've pressed the power button again and the notebook has turned on, with screen working properly. Do you know the reason for this problem? Is there any way to prevent it from happening again? Thank you in advance.

Capslock light blinking once every few seconds, black screen, wireless light red
Laptop turns on but the screen is black and the caps lock button light is blinking once every few seconds. The light on the wireless button is red. The power light on the side of the laptop is on and the charging light is on and white. When I close the laptop instead of going into sleep mode it stays in this condition. I have not used the laptop at all today but accidentally left it on and unplugged for a little over 5 hours.

Bios admistrator password
My computer states boot disk cannot be found and an operating system needs to be installed. Tried to get into bios setup but need an administrator password. After 3 failed attempts I get code : 73186684

New laptop after 2 hours use says no operating system on drive
New laptop after a few hours use says no operating system on drive . Done the hard drive checks that's working ok bin in bios and it's booting from right place . Done reset f9 .still says no operating system . ImI at a loss came from Curry's by post 65ml round trip to shop and I can't drive at moment due to just out of hospital . Not a happy camper.

laptop stuck in boot loop
I have tried everything with my HP Notebook Energy Star laptop. Ran tests and passed tried to reset everything and said did not reset right! Also tried the BIOS recovery, it’s stuck on hp logo then goes blank. Can anyone help please

BIOS corruption failure and HP USB bios recovery not working

hope somebody can help me with this.
suddenly one day this Laptop wont boot,
the screen is powered off.
No fan.
No noice or beeps.
the led in the caps lock key blinks on two on two... blinks 1, blinks 2, no blinking for two seconds... this pattern repeats endless
and the F12 key led is on whitout blinking and color orange/ambar
I'v matched the sequence of 'blinks' as "Bios corruption failure" according to hp manual.
I tried pressing "win + b + power button" whitout USB plugged and nothing happens , only the sequence of same blinks.
from HP support site I downloaded the bios software based on the serial number of the laptop
I made a "USB bios recovery" according to hp site.
I tried again pressing "win + b + power button (2 secs)" but this time with the USB inserted.......... this time the display turns on in black, no text, no graphics only a powered black display, one second later reboots, whitout warning.
and it keeps rebooting over and over showing a powered black display.
do anybody knows what could be the problem?

HP Envy 17 will only boot from 1 particular disk
I bought a HP Envy 17 second-hand, it has a 320GB HDD in the first bay & it boots fine but crystaldiskinfo gives some warnings so I want to change the HDD. I replaced the 320GB HDD with numerous other HDDs & SSDs but each time the boot stops at "Press the ESC key for startup menu" and will not go further, pressing ESC, F9, F10 etc. does nothing. When I revert to the original 320GB HDD all works properly again. I suspected some HDD security option in bios but there are no such options in the insydeh2o bios and the only 2 security options are clear. I tried cloning the original disk onto a similar disk & the cloning succeeded but the clone behaves the same as all the other HDDs and does not boot. I am at a loss does anyone have any bright ideas?

Computer will not turn on. Will only light up when plugged in.
I have an HP Envy 17t-u000 CTO that I got about two years ago. Recently it shut off for no apparent reason. After inspecting the laptop I decided it was probably the battery, so I installed a new one, however, it still will not turn on though now the charging light comes on. When the charging cable is plugged in, the orange light comes on, but when I press the power button, the light goes off and nothing starts. To get the light to come on again, I have to unplug the battery and reinstall it. I have tried to perform a hard reset, but when I do that, the fan comes on for about 5 seconds before shutting down in the same way as previously described. I’m really not sure what to do.

Laptop won’t turn on
Hi all, I have my beloved Hp pavilion 15e022sa and I always listen to music when I go to sleep so I just put a playlist on youtube and let it shut down by itself. A few nights ago my laptop just won’t turn on, I have tried literally every solution I could find on the internet and none of them works. When I plug the charger in it doesn’t show that it is charging, only a weak white light flickering near the charging port. Somehow yesterday the weak white light turned into a strong, solid white light for a second and then turned red and the laptop turned on. It was a black screen with a text, something about the fan and that it was hibernating and then started the windows normally. Well, it shut down again today exactly the same but now it won’t turn on by its own and I tried everything, I even cleaned the fan and the inside of the laptop. When it “hibernates” it’s actually just turned off and now it won’t turn on..can somebody help me please?

Probook 4520s will not boot
Hello,
I am bit stuck with my 4520s. I had it upgraded to more ram and a kingston ssd, installed win 8.1 and upgraded to 10. Worked like a charm untill the OS rebooted and now it stuck, no blinks, no beep codes, no image on the screen or external monitor. Swapped the parts with a faulty identical laptop, confirmed the cpu and ram as working. I tried to get it into bios recovery mode and it starts to blink the caps lock (no pattern, just continuos regular blinks), wifi led is orange on and no image or any other signs. Already tried to reseat, swap, replace ram modules to no avail. Also tried to remove the cmos battery, power cycle, new cmos battery, followed instructions on the official support page. One last thing to try is to hook up the laptop's display, not really sure if it is able to send signal to the external screen while in bios recovery mode, something tells me it should make no differance.
Can anyone shed some light?

Incorrect BIOS obtained/installed from support site - can't rollback due to signature file block
Updated BIOS obtained from https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05792935 - SP84422. This installed BIOS version F.45, however this is BIOS seems incorrect as there is missing and incorrect information showing in the BIOS setup screens, e.g. the TPM chip is no longer showing, incorrect OS showing.. Obtained BIOS version F.21 from HP PC Diagnostics USB, however I am unable install this BIOS version. Receive an error when attempting - "unable to open BIOS signature file". Can I be provided with a valid signature file to install a working BIOS version?

Boot not found
I was seeing if I could buy a boot disk off amazon for my “Boot Device Not Found” problem. I did everything the automated hp assistant wanted me to do. And if you could spare anymore information about things to fix this problem I would be greatful.
