My laptop is not turning on. Once i turn it off it will turn on after specific period of time like 24 hours..mean while it does not turn on. My power button is working properly. And i put it in charging ...it shows charging light for 2 seconds and than its off.
I have tried pressing 15 sec power button but no result..

I am currntly in school and in the middle of completing an assignment the creen went black. I pressed the power button to trn it off and then back on and now I get the laptop fan on high making noise and the caps lock blinks 3 times. What can I do to fix this issue? I have ten out the back pannel and taken out to put back in the memory but it does not work! Any other advice besides taking it to a shop? Thanks!

sometimes it turns on until windows loads and it asks for my password then suddently goes to sleep mode ,
so when i press the power button it gets me to the logon screen and then sleeps
battery is pluged in and when the ac is pluged in the battery led shows that its fully charged i try to turn on on battery only the same issues as in ac pluged or ac plugged without battery inserted
and sometimes it just starts that easy and works just fine while ac and battery both plugged and suddently the battery leds start blinking like 5 times white and one time orange then a last time white
i don’t understand the issue here please any help would be appreciated

When ı open the pc it writes boot device not found please install an operating system on your hard disk (3F0) then ı entered in boot options and ı enable the legacy support ,ı entered the code +Enter it says no bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key so ı cant solve the problem

Have fresh install of windows and no driver errors, hp said Norton was the problem so installed McAfee. when connected to internet it drops wi-fi connection then locks up to a blue screen with various error's. Can't stay connected to internet long enough to run any online diagnostics even when connected with Ethernet.
This computer is 1 month old and hp support put us on hold one time for a hour and the next time for a hour and a half before we hung up.

My laptop bluescreened last night. When it rebooted it couldn't see the SSD which has Windows on it. Startup just gives an 3F0 error with the message "Boot device not found". I tried troubleshooting - hard reset, disk check, all the repair options I could find. I even took the back off and reseated both drives.
The diagnostics only saw one drive (the HDD), which passed all the tests (but isn't bootable and doesn't have an OS on it).
The "HP System Diagnostics UEFI or HP UEFI Support Environment" could see the SSD (run from a USB stick, with the HDD removed) and it passed all tests, but it seems that UEFI can't connect at all to the SSD. The restore to factory settings won't even work, because I can't get it to see the SSD which has Windows installed.
Any help or ideas much appreciated!
Hi. About every two or three weeks I find my laptop in my bag very very hot. I consider the cause to be a design flaw, and want advice.
What seems to happen is that somehow the power button on the side of the latop is being knocked, and turns the machine on. It then presents the screen to enter my power on password (which I have set for security reasons). This screen stays on until either a password is entered or the machine overheats to the extent that it shuts down.
On my previous machine (a Dell XPS 12), there were two differences:
- it was harder to turn on the machine accidentally as the switch was slightly recessed rather than protruding and needed to be slid rather than pressed
- if the hard drive password (equivalent of the power on password) wasn't entered within a short period, the machine would just switch off
Is there a setting somewhere in the BIOS that forces the machine to turn off if the password is not entered in a given period?
If this happens very rarely I can cope with it, but to be overheating the device so frequently is of great concern.

I haven't used my Chromebook in a couple of weeks. I plugged it in yesterday morning to charge and nothing happened-I let it go for a while thinking the battery completely drained but even after an hour of charging, it won't turn on. When I plug in the charger, the light near the plug in flashes briefly in an amber color, and the light next to the power button briefly flashes white. That is it. I have tried the rebooting suggestions (power and refresh) several times with no result. I have read about issues with the charger, but I don't know if it is that since there is some recognition when it is plugged in. I am hesitant to open it up to play with the battery as some users have done. Any input is appreciated.

Basically,my hp laptop wont come on.when i press the power button it starts (eg I hear the fan come on) ,but the screen remains blank and the caps lock blinks 3 times then it turns off (the fan stops) and this process occurs again.I took it to a repair guy and he did a hard reset(he removes the battery pack and help the power button) and it started working then he shut it down and i brought it back home.When i switched it on,it just started the same problem again as nothing was fixed.I have tried the hard reset and its not working.I also tried to live it on hoping it will eventually stop switching one and off but it still continued this.I have talked to both a digital and real operator, done lots of online research but nothings working.

I was using computer and all of the sudden it just froze up. I couldn't get it do respond to anythign and I let it run for about 30 minutes to let it fix itself. Nothing happened so I ended up powering it down. Upon restarting it, it said starting automatic repair and it just went on in a loop for a day. I looked it up on youtube and I couldn't find any help. Then I tried to factor reset it using the Hp manager and it powered off during the reset and now it says that there isn't a OS installed. I did the test in the HP hardware diagnostics UEFI and it came back with the error code U08FTS-8B3801-MFPX6K-619403. I tried following all of the support threads for this type of problem but couldn't find an answer. Do I have to buy a new hard drive/OS?
in the laptop b6n22ea after formatting the C drive does not go into beec bios.Theh works. The screen is lit, but it is black, when you press the power button and then press f10, the inscription lights up that it goes into bios, but nothing else happens to that. after the C: / drive, he wrote that he cannot find the boot. help me.
When I plug in my charger to my laptop the light doesn’t light up and it can’t be turned on. I’ve read some solutions on the matter and they all require removing the battery which I physically can’t do on this model. I heard about buttons I can press to fix this but It varies from models. So now I’m really stuck. Do I get a new charger, battery or what? I’m honestly not trying to waste money at this point. I just repaired it last week
